Do you ever have days when you feel like you’re getting in your own way?
You ‘over think’ every decision.
You trip yourself up.
And you can’t tell if it’s your intuition trying to tell you something, or just that sausage roll repeating on you from lunch.
We know that good decisions are made when we are calm and relaxed. But the thing is, sometimes we do get in our own way. We stumble. We second-guess. And we lose touch with what we know. And that’s okay. We just need to find our way back to centre, slowly and gently.
This week, set the intention to Channel It. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, take a few, slow deep breaths. Bring your mind to the present moment by focusing on an object – it could be a photograph on your ‘phone, a plant, or the flow of your breath in and out of your body. Then think about the challenge or situation your faced with and let the feeling of relaxation guide you in to what you can helpfully do next. If no answers come up straight away, try again when you’re ready.
