How do you define beauty?
Perhaps it’s a sunrise.
A piece of music.
The face of a loved one.
All of these things might help us understand what beauty means. But let’s be honest, there are days when we just don’t feel beautiful.
It’s in these moments when we’re feeling awful, or worrying about our weight, our skin, our life– that we have to look after ourselves most.
This week, set the intention to Be Your Own Beauty. Stop what you’re doing and grab a post it note or piece of paper and write yourself a love-note; one thing that you love about yourself, or a mantra to repeat. It could ‘I am good enough’ or a high fives and a nod to your cooking, the way you drive, the kindness you show others. But even if you write just one thing, put it somewhere you’ll see it every single day, to remind you just how beautiful you are.
