When was the last time you treated yourself? If it’s been a while (and certainly if it’s been longer than you can remember), then this is an immediate call to action.
When you’re a giver, you tend to put everyone else’s needs first. You put energy into being there for others. You put their needs above your own. And, if you buy yourself something, you feel a huge wave of guilt. Have I got that right?
This week, set the intention to Treat Yourself. It doesn’t have to be an expensive handbag or a new pair of shoes (although if that’s where your mind went that’s totally okay). I’m talking about treating yourself to the gift of some positive ‘you’ time, whatever that looks like.
