Monday Mojo – feel-good motivation for the week ahead: Take Your Time
How much time do you have today? I’m guessing pretty much every minute of your day is accounted for. And, you’re not alone.
We seem to feel that taking our time over anything seems lazy, self-indulgent or is creating a problem somewhere. And if we do take our time, we feel guilty. We are all so busy to get…somewhere. But where are we going?
This week, set the intention to Take Your Time. If you see something – a flower, a painting, a person – take your time to appreciate being in their company. Cook your favourite meal and experience every mouth full. Maybe notice how your body feels right now, in this moment. Is there tension? Have you been in a hurry lately?
Take your time bringing your awareness to how you’re feeling, and then start your day slowly. You can still do so with purpose and you can still get things done.
