April is Stress Awareness Month – here’s top tip #4: Get some rest.
If, like most people, every minute of your day is accounted for, then taking a moment to rest is more important than ever. Your body is not a machine, both your body and mind need to rest and recuperate. It’s not always easy in this busy world that won’t slow down, but you must make it a priority if you’re going to stay fit and well.
You may find techniques like Mindfulness helpful but relaxation comes in many forms. Whether it’s taking some exercise, sitting in your garden, or having a nap, make sure you put rest on top of your list of things to do.
