Monday Mojo – Save Your Energy

Have you been over doing it lately?

Maybe you don’t like to admit it, but your body will be speaking to you if you have.

You get every cough and cold.

You can’t bear loud noises.

And as soon as you get in to bed – as exhausted as you are – your brain reminds you of all the things you haven’t done today – and you can’t sleep. Know that feeling?

Taking subtle cues from the body and knowing when it’s time to rest are important for overall health and wellbeing, not just physically but mentally too.

This week, set the intention to Save Your Energy. If you can, take as many opportunities to be kind to yourself. Take a lunch break away from your desk. Put your feet up when you get home. Eat your favourite foods and stock pile your energy into reserves for when you might really need it.
