Monday Mojo – feel-good motivation for the week ahead: Stop and Breathe
It can seem like we are always in a hurry these days. We leap out of bed and start the day at 100 miles per hour. The rest of the day follows at the same pace. Every minute is accounted for, which means that running just five minutes late can mean we’re running behind all day.
This week, set the intention to stop and breathe. Take a few moments where you are now just to catch your breath and take in your surroundings. Notice where you are, and what’s happening around you. Try not to get caught up in the commentary of your thoughts as they pile in, and remind you of your (growing) to do list. Remember that taking a moment this way can actually help you get more done. Every time you find the day spinning ahead, take as many moments as you need to stop and breathe.
