Useful Links and Contacts – Mental Health Awareness

This page contains some links for the U.K. which may be useful; if you’re outside the U.K. you may find equivalents in your area. This is not an exhaustive list, and a link doesn’t mean the product, content or service is endorsed, just that you may find it useful. Agencies may close due to lack of funding, and services may change. Always check before you invest. Links appear in no particular order.

Important Note: If you’re worried about your physical or mental health, speak to your doctor as soon as possible. If you are in need of urgent medical assistance please call 999, or if you’re concerned for your well-being dial 111. If you need to report a crime you can ring 101 in the UK or try to report online. None of the links to services below are intended to replace any medical advice you may have received or treatment you are having. If you’re struggling with your mental health, Samaritans are also available 24/7 on 116 123.

If you are looking for counselling services, you may find the BACP therapist directory or NHS list of services useful. You may also wish to search local Crisis Support
