Research now supports that lack of well-being – and particularly reduced spiritual health – can significantly impact individuals and communities, leading to loneliness, isolation and other difficulties.
There are a number of causes and proximal factors that influence this. For example, a person can lack a sense of meaning or purpose, be “time poor” (working all hours that leads to burnout) or have developed a mindset or habits that keep them stuck.
Organisations and businesses can also unwittingly contribute towards this through poor workplace policy (like sickness absence procedures), moral injury, or unhealthy attitudes towards wellness practices. You can read more about this in my mission statement here and find details of the services I offer below.
Training
Learning and delivery covers a range of topics focused on approaching wellness holistically, and to help others help others as an act of community care. Audiences have included police officers, paramedics and search & rescue teams.
