We all have mental health. The research suggests that 1 in 6 of us showed symptoms of poor mental health in just the last week, with 1 in 4 of us either having, or being close to someone with, a diagnosable condition.

In the 21st century and certainly in the UK, we still find it hard to talk about how we feel. Even though mental health is now higher on the national agenda, people worry what others will think if they disclose that they’re struggling. Thankfully, help is at hand.

If you’re struggling with your mental health, are feeling stressed, low or anxious, you’re not alone.  Organisations like the Samaritans are available 24/7 and other specialist organisations can help offer advice sheets and guidance on different conditions – charities like Rethink are working hard to change the conversation. Your doctor will also be able to talk you through treatment options, like talking therapy and wellbeing classes, available in your local area.  Here is a list of links you may find useful.
